Birdwatchers will be happy to know that Israel is a popular stop-over for migratory birds, and the Jewish National Fund recently built a world-class bird watching center in northern Tel Aviv where the Yarkon River meets the Ayalon. The center is meant to serve the community at large, holding classes for both children and adults, whether experienced or beginners.
