Headquarter yourself in the Hôtel La Pérouse, a classy boutique hotel built into Castle Hill and ideally located for taking advantage of Nice's gay life, day or night.

2

Unless for some inexplicable reason you find yourself in Nice off-season when many beaches are closed, grab your swim suit (nude bathing risks a fine!) and amble down to Castel Plage, a chic private beach popular with the LGBTQ crowd. Rent a comfy lounge chair and settle in for the day with restaurant, bar and new friends at hand.

3

Even if you are off-season, chances are you'll find sunny skies even if temperatures are coolish, so stroll the Promenade des Anglais before lunching and taking in the bay views at Plage Beau Rivage, which is open year around.

4

In late afternoon, return to the hotel to relax around the heated pool or nap before hitting the Old Town's gay scene.

5

Put on your party clothes and check out Rue Bonaparte in Nice's Little Marais in the old section of the city Place Garibaldi and the Port of Nice. Grab a table on the terrace of Comptoir Central Électrique to indulge in people-watching, aperitifs and appetizers before moving on to Gossip, a popular LGBTQ spot for dining, drinking and finding out the latest.

6

Bar hop in the neighborhood to see what suits your fancy. Some of the most popular spots are KultLe 6, Le Bar Bitch, and Le Malabar Station.

7

Friday through Sunday, head to Le Glam, Nice's best known gay club, as midnight approaches and keep partying until dawn.
