Formerly known as Haus Nürnberg, this famous building is now home to a mild-mannered boutique hotel. Though the rooms are basic and minimally appointed, the communal areas still retain their brass-and-tile Twenties glamour: Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, after all, were among the famous personalities that performed here in its heyday as one of Berlin's most famous theatres.
