Christopher Street Day is Germany's yearly Pride celebration, whose namesake is the New York City street where the infamous Stonewall Riots took place. With events all throughout the city and larger crowds at all the normal venues, it's that time of year to really let oneself go to the hungy, hungry homos. Beginning with the parade down Kurfürstendamm and a smaller, more activism-centered one in Kreuzberg, it lasts over two weekends and has options for everyone, like the Dyke March, parties at the indie-bar SchwuZ, and the gargantuan take-it-or-leave-it closing party at the Arena Club.
