A popular tradition that takes place in the Flohmarkt in the park on Sundays, emcee Joe Hatchiban has been leading singers and wannabe-singers through hit after hit since 2009 with comedic, goofball quips and subtle crowd control. With only a back-up track, a microphone, and plenty of untrained singers before an ampitheatre full of thundering Berliners and tourists, it is sort of the gladiator games of karaoke.
