For bridge-connoisseurs, this one may be worth a visit. Originally a self-anchored suspension bridge that collapsed during repairs, it was replaced by the current construction in 1948, the world's first steelbox girder bridge. The design would go on to inspire the Three Sisters bridges in Pittsburgh and the Kiyosa Bridge in Tokyo.
