Near the Mariinsky Theater, Romeo's is a relaxed family restaurant with a diverse menu of authentic Italian and Russian specialties served from an open kitchen in an elegant modern dining room. The white mushroom risotto, black ravioli filled with salmon mousse and beef stroganoff are house favorites. For after dinner, breakfast or takeaway, there is a confectionary with enticing tartlets, cannolis, profiteroles, cakes and soufflés. Many of the staff are English-speaking.
