The Joan Miró Foundation, which opened in 1975, has the most comprehensive public collection of Miró textiles, sculptures, paintings, engravings, ceramics as well as other modern art. The building was designed by Miró's friend Josep Lluis Sert, who was dean of Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. You can get there by bus lines 55 and 150 (Bus Parc de Montjuïc) and the funicular de Montjuïc. Hours; 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., until 9 p.m. Thursdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. Closed Mondays.
