Housed in the Palau Nacional (National Palace), the National Museum of Catalan art has four permanent collections - Romanesque and Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque, Modern and photography, drawings, prints, poster and coins. It is particularly known for romanesque church mural paintings and Modernism and Noucentisme works of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
