Although there is something going on in Ibiza year-round, the season picks up in May and runs through October. This is when the island comes alive with club opening parties, an early June Pride, daily theme parties and no shortage of special events. Velvet Ibiza is the wild women-only weekend of pool parties, beach, sports activities and clubbing, a lot of clubbing. Magico Festival in August is five days of pool parties, beach parties, clubbing, food and a lot of music by top DJs on the international gay circuit.
