Bern's Jazz Festival draws over 20,000 jazz enthusiasts each year for 200 world-class concerts held at the intimate Marians Jazzroom. Music students from Switzerland and New York also make their debut performances in the Jazz Tent. Organized since 1976, past performers have included B.B. King, Fats Domino, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James.
