Through a 20-foot (6 m) high door made of reclaimed oak from French wine barrels, the interior of Mio Hotel is colorful and textured, an experience in design as much as hospitality. Many of the 30 spacious rooms come with a freestanding tub carved from a single piece of wood. On site public space perks include a spa, a library, terrace bar and a popular nightlife lounge.
