Set in the hills in the Santa Teresa neighborhood above Rio, Aprazível - which means pleasant in Portuguese - serves up an inventive menu in a rustic and scenic, tree-top atmosphere. Chef Ana Castilho uses tropical ingredients to create a blend of Brazilian and international cuisines including the recommended Tropical Fish, the red wine-roasted goat and the beef. Note, it's a bit of an uphill trek to the restaurant, but the walk down the hill through Santa Teresa after dinner is quite pleasant.
