The Colonial Art Museum in a 17th century Jesuit building displays everyday objects along with works in gold and silver. The art collection includes oil paintings, drawings, sculpture from the Americas and Europe and civil portraits of impressive personages of the 17th and 18th century New Granada. The "Mono de la Pila" fountain in the patio supplied water to the city for 300 years.
