The tree-lined Paseo de Montejo, often compared to the Champs-Élysées, is one of the longest streets in the city, lined with museums, monuments and 19th century mansions. Named after a conquistador, it also has many shops and restaurants. On Saturdays, Noche Mexicana at its southern end has a stage with entertainment and vendors' stalls. Cyclists and pedestrians take over the street on Sunday from 8 am to 12:30 pm, and artists sell their works on the sidewalk from 9 am to 2 pm.
