Home to the non-profit film society responsible for the acclaimed Vancouver International Film Festival, Vancity Theatre hosts screenings, expert panels and various cultural events geared towards nurturing the art of independent cinema. The theater venue itself is large and plush, with high-end screens and sound systems.
