Taking up 33-acres in the heart of Buckhead, the Atlanta History Center is a great opporunity to learn not only about the history of the city but of the southeastern U.S. in general. The lot contains the 1928 Swan House Mansion and the Smith Family Farm, as well as 22 acres of gardens. The rest is libraries, archives and exhibits. Check the center's website for regular events.
