How can I contribute?

Where the Boys (and Girls) Are

1

Stay in North Beach Village, a neighborhood of 1950s motels updated into the adults-only, all-inclusive  Royal Palms Resort and Spa or clothing-optional retreats like the Worthington Resorts. You will be within easy walking distance of the beach and its bars and restaurants.

2

Spend the morning working on your tan at nearby LGBTQ Sebastian Street Beach or farther south in front of the Elbo Room, made famous by the 1960 film "Where the Boys Are."

3

Linger over lunch at the Casablanca Cafe, near Sebastian Beach and a venue for beach bear weekends.

4

Spend the rest of the afternoon at the library and archives of the Stonewall National Museum at 1300 E. Sunrise Boulevard. In addition to its impressive book and publications collections, it hosts special events and exhibits. The museum headquarters is in Wilton Manors.

5

Put on your casual party clothes for happy hour and dinner along Wilton Drive, the main drag of gay-centric Wilton Manors. Choices are myriad. Some of the favorite spots are Rosie's Bar and Grill, Naked Wine and Tapas and 13|Even.

6

Stay on to dance at Hunters or Georgie's Alibi. Or head back to the beach for a little moon glow.
