Casablanca Cafe near the gay Sebastian Beach offers beach views, great people-watching and inside and outside dining. The building, designed by Francis L. Abreu, an early Fort Lauderdale architect, was built in 1927 - the first home on Fort Lauderdale beach and formerly known as Jova House after its original owner. There's live entertainment after 8 pm except Mondays. It's one of the venues for Beach Bear Weekend.
