The lushly landscaped Perrione's Marketplace & Café, which is both gourmet market and restaurant popular with locals, looks as though it has been around since Old Florida days. In truth, the core of the structure is an 18th century Vermont barn dismantled and transported to Miami only a decade or so ago. It has several dining areas - inside, outside and in between. Fare is classic Italian with a $10 pasta special on Thursdays. It made Zagat lists for best brunch and most popular.
