The old Miami Museum of Science has closed in preparation for the move downtown to the new Patricia and Philip Frost Museum of Science, opening in 2016. The new facility will include a planetarium, aquarium and indoor and outdoor science exhibits. Meanwhile, the museum will host pop-up event around town as announced on the frostscience.org website.
