Just shy of divey, Barracuda Bar in Chelsea is a staple of the neighborhood.  A long bar at the front leads to a back lounge with stage and couches, where every night is drag night.  With no cover, strong drinks, and plentiful entertainment, it's a cheap way to take in some classic drag theater.
