Built in 1932 and last renovated in 2012, Casitas Laquita is a gated resort for women and their friends with 15 Spanish-style casitas and suites and a lushly landscaped inner courtyard with a large heated swimming pool under towering palms. All have full kitchens and soaking tubs for two. Most of the accommodations nestle around the pool with three a short stroll away. The free BUZZ shuttle trolley to downtown Palm Springs picks up every 15 minutes and runs until 1 am. Massage, manicures, pedicures and facials can be booked in your casita or poolside. In 2016, it was transferred to new ownership, changed its name to the Gypsy Rose and is no longer lesbian-only.
