The Provincetown Schooner Regatta takes place each year from Labor day Monday through the final race on Thursday. The whole town comes together to acknowledge the maritime history of the region with educational and sporting events, making this a great time to visit with children. Boat rides on any number of vessels are part of the fun, and bars and restaurants around town will be showing races live on their TV screens. Some lucky sea dogs can reserve a spot on a Schooner to get closer to the action. Many events are free.
