Since 1978 the famed hippie enclave of Haight-Ashbury has been hosting a one-day street fair to celebrate the unique culture and history of San Francisco. The event is meant to showcase the diversity of the community, and local merchants, restaurants, artists, performers, and non-profits come together to celebrate with some of the best local bands on show.
