With one of the most expensive tasting menus in the world--20 courses will run you about $250--it's no surprise that the dining room at Saison has only 18 seats. Guests willing to pay these prices have a front row to the open kitchen, where chef Joshua Skenes and team prepare neo-American cuisine that has won the restaurant three Michelin stars. Wine pairings by sommelier Mark Bright will add another $150 to your bill, but the chance to eat world-class food in what amounts to a new spin on dinner theater is worth it. Open for dinner only, Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saison, Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA, United States
