The San Francisco Zoo has all the usual suspects from aardvarks to zebras, but their Children's Zoo is especially nice--with a glacier- and jungle-themed playground--and the three-acre African Savannah has giraffes, dik-diks, and ostrich. Also make time to check out the playful Lemur Forest.
