In service since 1904, Hong Kong Tramways is the world's largest double-decker tram fleet. The all-electric system stretches along the northern edge of Hong Kong Island between Kennedy Town to the west to Shau Kein Wan on the east with a loop through Happy Valley. Six lines cover 13 kilometers (8.1 mi.) and charge HK$2.50 (US$0.32) per ride. Board at the back and pay when you get off in front. More than transportation, it's a fun way to sightsee. The Octopus smart card is accepted.
