Ten days of mainstream and independent LGBT cinema is arranged every October by the Danish Film Institute. One of the oldest film events in the world - it was formerly known as Copenhagen Gay & Lesbian Film Festival - it screens over 60 features, 25 documentaries, and 30 short films. The winner receives the Lili Award, named after Lili Elbe, the first person in the world to undergo sex reassignment surgery. Tickets are 80 DKK.
