On the first floor of the Danish Film Institute, cinephiles will find a little slice of heaven in Cinemateket, a state-supported art-house theater that screens over 60 films a month. The rest of the center contains an extensive collection of cinema-related literature, a video library of more than 1500 titles, and a small shop with cafe. In addition to weekly screenings, Cinemateket hosts movie trivia nights and live music events. Ticket prices vary by event.
