Overlooking Covent Garden piazza, the Palm Court Brasserie is done up in Parisian 1920s-style with long red leather banquettes, mirror-lined walls, white table clothes and bistro chairs. Dishes are classic French and Mediterranean, say baked brie, onion soup, stuffed aubergine, beef burguignon, moules frites. A pre- and post-theater menu comes in two or three courses, and the traditional British afternoon tea invites guests to stay awhile.
