One of the biggest biergartens in Berlin (at least in meterage), the Luftgarten ("air-garden") is located in Tempelhoferfeld, the repurposed, now extinct airport in Neukölln. Enjoy a cold beer or tasty morsel of barbecue in the sun and reflect on the runway's storied past: notably the famous record-breaking flight of the Wright brothers. Closed in the winter.
