BKA stands for Berliner Kabaret Anstalt (Berlin Cabaret Establishment), a theater on the fifth floor of a house in Mehringdamm. Here, in the evenings, an ensemble of actors and other theater-makers present low-budget comedy from cabarets to sing-alongs. Especially worth the ticket price is the weekly series of new and contemporary music, "Unerhörte Musik" and the early afternoon children's program "Platypus."
