Bordering Venloer Straße in the hip Belgium Quarter, Stadtgarten is a city park favorite with its jogging paths, large lawns, beer garden, restaurant, and concerts. First planned in 1828 on the former grounds of the city wall, it was later renovated into what exists today. During the Winter, the stalls of the Christmas Market is a big draw with its string lights, handcrafted wares, mulled wine, German treats and Christmas stage, complete with puppet shows, storytelling and jazz concerts.
