A traditional Greek restaurant on the west side of Skala Eressos, Adonis is a favorite with Greek locals, meaning the food here is the real deal. During the summer there will be lamb roasting on a spit, to be served with a variety of mezedes - or small plates of appetizers - like stuffed grape leaves, grilled octopus, farmer's cheese, or steamed mussels. Be sure to try the sardeles pastes, fresh sardines which have been caught that morning, salted, and are served raw like sushi with a light dressing of lemon and olive oil. There is also a small play area for children.
