Hotel Belle Époque is decorated in the creams, olives, sages, mustards and peaches of art nouveau and home to a museum-worthy collection of art. Steps from the Aare River in Old Town, the historic building was purchased by art collector and dentist Dr. Philippe D. Ledermann in 1989 and converted into a 17-room hotel with an elegant bar, a summer terrace and Le Chariot restaurant serving Swiss international cuisine. The hotel also hosts weekly cultural events including jazz evenings, readings and even a little burlesque.
