The beautiful Art Deco building of the Abasto shopping mall served as central supply market in Buenos Aires from 1893 to 1984. Now one of the city's most popular shopping destinations, the fruits and vegetables have been replaced by brands like Adidas, Lacoste, Yves Saint Laurent, Nike and Christian Dior. There is also a 12-screen cinema, a children's museum, a games arcade and a massive food court with a Kosher McDonald's.
