The Mercado de San Telmo is a colorful Sunday affair that bustles with hundreds of artisan and antique stalls. Plaza Dorrego, mostly filled with collectibles, is at the heart of the colorful street bazaar, but vendors spill over into the surrounding area. More modern items like designer clothes, leather goods, jewelry, accessories and souvenirs may be found along Defensa, all the way down to Parque Lezama. You'll surely spot a street performance or two along the way, and there is no shortage of cafés and bars to take a break from the crowds.
