For those of you who have never heard of it, Feijoada is the most traditional Brazilian dish, a stew with different cuts of pork and beef, sausages, black beans - cooked for hours on end and normally served with white rice, orange slices and steamed green leaves cooked in garlic. Ok - now that you know what it is, head to Casa da Feijoada in Ipanema to try one of the best in the city. Good sized portions accompanied by lime and passion fruit cocktails and a lot of cachaca (the typical Brazilian rum that is).
