Squeezed between Copacabana and Ipanema, Arpoador beach is a short stretch of sand and rocks that draws crowds, particularly at sunrise and sunset to Arpoador Hill. It is also one of the top surf spots and even has flood lighting for night surfing or any other beach sport. During the summer, it can get a bit crowded.
