Opened in 1980, Rio Sul is Rio's oldest mall and a mega mall at that. Just north of Copacabana Beach, it's set across eight floors with everything shopping from international brand fashions to home goods and souvenirs. There are food courts, gourmet restaurants, a fitness center, a full service spa, candy stores, a police station, a post office and four movie theaters. Free buses shuttle from the beach, nearby hotels and Cardeal Arcoverde Subway Station.

It is the most visited place in town!!! Good quality products, a few coffee shops, nice restaurants and a movie theater. Nice to spend an afternoon at. Not exactly gay, but u will find some cruising there.
