The house where José Clemente Orozco, the celebrated political muralist of the early 20th century, once lived and worked was turned into a small museum in 1951. Admission is free. Along with Diego Rivera, he was part of the Mexican Muralism movement. His work in Guadalajara can be seen in the Government Palace and the Hospicio Cabañas where his frescos are considered his masterpiece.
