Middle Eastern and Iranian cuisines are featured on small plates meant for sharing at Josefina Santacruz's Paprika Cocina de Especias, named for the chef's love of spices. Santacruz, who studied at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, is well known locally for her Spanish-language TV cooking courses and Sesame, her popular Asian street food restaurant in the Roma neighborhood. Paprika is small, so reservations advised.
