Quintonil - named after a Mexican herb - opened in 2012 and two years later began making international best-restaurants lists. Chef Jorge Vallejo centers his contemporary menu on vegetables and greens from his nearby garden. Elegant yet relaxed, the restaurant offers both a la carte and seasonal tasting menus at US$70. The young chef, Mexican trained, also has the more casual and less expensive Fonda Fina.
