Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim spent US$19 million (250 million Mexican pesos) to build the Inbursa Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the country and one of the largest in the world. Opened in 2014, it is five stories - four of them underground - and has 3,500 square meters (nearly 38,000 sq. ft.) of exhibition space.
