Rivera del Rio is a sumptuous eight-room bed-and-breakfast hacienda on the banks of the Rio Cuale, which has often been the backdrop for fashion magazine photo shoots. The former "river house" of late local legend Mary Margaret ("Silver") Alexander Killen, AKA "Silver" Maria Cortez, it has been updated by her grandson Alexander, who has added a water purification system without sacrificing his grandmother's flair.
