The Vancouver Marathon - which has been named a Top Ten Destination Marathon by Forbes Magazine - takes place each spring in downtown Vancouver. The course runs along a scenic path from BC Place Stadium through Stanley Park, Kitsilano and back. There are three days of related events surrounding the race itself, including shorter races, parties, fundraising events and street fairs.
