Commitment services have been performed at the gay-oriented, non-denominational Metropolitan Church since 1984. On Jan. 6, 2015, the Rev. Steve Torrence - associated with the congregation since 1985 - officiated at the city's first same sex marriage on the steps of the county courthouse. Sunday services are at 10 am.
