The Guggenheim building, a seashell-like whorl designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, presents a unique way to view art, as visitors ascend a spiral ramp towards a 96-foot-high glass atrium.  The museum has many fine modern works on display, and often hosts exhibits that play off the unusual space.
