The adults-only Sparrows Lodge is a mid-century retreat recently renamed and updated and renamed, retaining the best of its distinctive western-ranch-house features. Modern rustic design, it has 20 rooms with beamed ceilings, butterfly chairs, Swiss army blankets and a metal footlocker for a closet but no televisions or phones. Many have horse troughs as bathtubs. The barn-theme is continued in the bar. Previously incarnations have been as Castle's Red Barn (actor Don Castle's home), Catalina Palms and El Rancho Lodge.
